About us 关于我们
About Us
US China Culture and Art Exchange Association and the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion Association are cultural organizations based in the United States and dedicated to the preservation, promotion, education, and international exchange of intangible cultural heritage and traditional arts.
Through exhibitions, lectures, school programs, community events, hands-on workshops, cultural performances, fashion presentations, and international exchange programs, we bring traditional arts into schools, universities, museums, libraries, cultural centers, communities, and public spaces.
Our programs include Chinese paper-cutting, dough figurine art, sugar painting, shadow puppetry, marionette performance, calligraphy, traditional costumes, Hanfu and paper-cut fashion shows, Tai Chi and martial arts, Chinese festival culture, and cultural exchange projects representing diverse traditions from around the world.
We believe that cultural heritage should not only be displayed, but also experienced, learned, and passed on. Our goal is to make intangible cultural heritage visible, accessible, interactive, and meaningful for people of all ages and backgrounds.
Since our founding, we have organized and participated in numerous cultural events in Chicago, New York, and other communities, working with schools, universities, cultural centers, community organizations, public institutions, artists, and volunteers. These programs have helped introduce traditional arts to broader audiences and promote mutual understanding among different cultures.
Our mission is:
To preserve heritage, promote culture, encourage exchange, and serve the community.
Our vision is to build a meaningful platform for cultural heritage education, artistic exchange, and community engagement in the United States and beyond, connecting traditional artists with modern audiences and linking Chinese culture with the wider world.
Looking ahead, we will continue to develop the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion Tour, school and community programs, public cultural exhibitions, international art exchanges, heritage fashion shows, traditional festival celebrations, lectures, and collaborative cultural projects. We warmly welcome schools, universities, museums, libraries, cultural institutions, community organizations, businesses, and individuals to work with us in preserving cultural heritage and sharing the artistic wisdom of humanity.
